I love working with therapists in supervision or case consultation, whether in an ongoing manner or on an as-needed basis. My approach to supervision is based within a trauma-informed, Relational Psychodynamic model, but varies according to what you need.
If you are looking for ongoing, regular supervision or consultation, my aim is to help you identify, clarify, and expand the ways in which you are thinking about your clients and to better understand what is happening within the treatment and therapeutic relationship. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgement space where we can explore themes related to clients' present and past difficulties, transference, countertransference, and relational enactments. Through the offering of questions, reflections, and considerations, we can increase your understanding of your clients, how and why you may be reacting to them in certain ways (and vice versa), and ways you can engage with them to deepen and improve your work. I view this kind of experience and relationship as an important part of our commitment to a life-long learning process. Ultimately, I want to help create a space where you can continue to grow and develop your personal therapeutic style and professional identity through core values, such as collaboration, mutuality, curiosity, and respect within the supervisory relationship.
I am also available for single or time-limited consultations if you have a particular clinical issue you are needing help with. In these cases, my approach is usually more precise and directive to accommodate for time limitations and to ensure we can efficiently work together to meet your needs.

The clinical interests I feel most apt to provide supervision or consultation around include therapists' work with clients who have PTSD, a history of complex trauma, and/or severe dissociative disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). During the initial phone call and/or session, I will focus on discussing the client(s) you are wanting to discuss, the issues you may be struggling with, and your goals for our work together, in order to give us an opportunity to further determine if I may be of help to you.
